Together with the MARVIE company, RIFTEK has just introduced a measuring machine designed for control of geometric parameters of large diameter pipes.
The machine consists of 24 wide-range high speed synchronized 2D scanners located on the outer circumference of the pipe, which makes it possible to inspect full profile of the pipe in the course of manufacture.The diameter range controlled is from 500 mm to 1450 mm.The diameter measurement error is not more than 0.1%, the out-of-roundness measurement error is 0.2%.
